Topic: Grooveshark MP3 Quality

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I currently use VDJ Home Edition, and it is GREAT! I'm very excited for VDJ 8 too!!

I am considering upgrading to the "Pro" edition of VDJ, getting the premium grooveshark membership and having fun with access to all that music at my fingertips :)

My only question, I am a nerd when it comes to music quality - I like everything to be 320kbps MP3 or 256kbps AAC files. I do not want anything less than that.

- What is the quality of a Grooveshark MP3?
- It states that the MP3's can be stored on your computer, and then played offline in VDJ. Could I open this file up in Logic to make a quick edit? Or do I need to wait for VDJ8 for this capability?
- How does this Premium Service rate to the other services available out there? Such as ZipDJ, Promo Only, etc

Thanks All! Peace!

Grooveshark files are sourced from what others have uploaded, so the quality of the file is completely down to how that user ripped it.

Iit's effectively peer to peer filesharing, but you're paying for it. Oh, and the files only work when you're subscribed.

My understanding is that the files can't be edited - because that would allow saving under a new name or format.

Other DJ services generally allow you to keep the music you're paying for rather than rent it. It's the best way. The songs are yours, they're high quality, you can edit them and so on.
