This is also a good tool to use for when you are looking at purchasing a used SL1200. Watch those dots on the pitch changes and if they're wobbling or jumping then you know the motor is off a bit. Of the technics I've tested when buying used, they've all stayed on point. But it's good knowledge to have when looking around at used gear.
