Everything worked great for a few months and then last Wednesday it crashed about three times in four hours. I reinstalled vdj and ddj firmware but it crashed after a few hours twice as well. I noticed that a few buttons stop working first and then nothing works at all. If i had it running auto playlists the soundcard worked in ddj but zero control. the only button i had control over was the master volume. Then after the controller crashes I have no control over vdj and have to restart the computer. I haven't reinstalled serato yet but i' m thinking about it. Or is it my comp has a problem? But only when i turn on vdj software my cpu jumps up high. I lowered it by changing to a default skin but it still crashes

You need to narrow things down a bit (is it the controller, VDJ or the computer?) by swapping things out.
