Topic: Script : a bit stuck

由于该帖子已年深日久，可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I'm playing around with skins (very basic, but trying to learn as i go)... anyway,

I want to create a button which, when clicked gets the artist and/or song title from deck 1 and enters them into the browser search box..

i have tried get text and get display commands but can't get my head around the syntax... (If it is actually possible)

the closest i got was %Title written in the search box after clicking my button.

As far as I know you can't without resorting to C++.
 
and that's where I give up haha..

Its really only for laziness.. so i could click a button to see more from that artist or songs with the same title...

I'm slowly replacing windows media player with Virtual Dj.. and wanted an easy skin so my kids can use it too.
 
You don't have filter folders?
 
yes, but i didn't think filter folders could show that:

eg.

show songs by currently playing artist


Can they??
 
You are right...it can't be done. I tried it but no result.
