Topic: Music Just stops

Hi any 1 else had this problem when i was djin last night the music just stoped and the grafix on vdj slowed right down when i came to close vdj it told me that the music was still playing my pal had this happen to him last week any ideas?

Im using
Lenovo laptop
i5 cpu
6 gb ram
nvidia graphics card
720 hdd
windows 7

And i am using a Pioneer ergo controller

Try a different USB cable, preferably a higher quality certified USB 2.0 cable.
Also don't use USB 3.0 ports to connect your controller. If needed use a POWERED USB 2.0 hub.
 
it seems a bit odd that it would be the usb slowing the graphics and stoping the music dead but hey im no expert and thanks for thw advice ill give it ago tonite i have a new cable there and a powered usb port ill get back on the results
 
A secondary issue beyond the USB could be a power spike/drop between the controller & pc. I had issues until I started using a battery back-up and so far so good.
