I am using American Audio VMS2 with VDJ (trail pro) and just tried recording for the first time.
When I listened back to my recording I was able to hear what ever I was queuing up next even though my fader was on one channel.
Has anyone else experienced this and have ideas what to do?
Do I need to change my VDJ config before I record to different sound card?
I also noticed in the beginning of my recording, although I was able to hear it, not lights were coming on the individual channels and then later I looked and they were lit up.
Thanks,
John

This is because the VMS2 has a real hardware mixer built in.

Thanks for posting the link. I have yet to try it out but am hoping I can come up with a configuration that will allow me to play live and record instead of just one or the other.
I have a line in USB card (from ION) and hoping they do not conflict with the midi controller sound card.
Thanks again.
John
