Topic: DMX Controller question

I have a couple of moving heads, a couple of led light bars, several led pars and 4 scanners.

I have always let my lights do their own thing but with the moving heads, I want some control!

I am looking at the Elation DMX Operator and the Chauvet Obey 40.

I don't know which one is better.

Anyone know which is better and WHY?!? Anyone have any other suggestions?

I could use a little guidance. I need to get whatever i'm buying this weekend.

the obey is easy to work with but your only touching the base of what your lights can do.. If you were in calgary I would give you mine as I have a usb to dmx from gracylighting china and can run anything.. google it.. worth the juice.
 
Just retired my Obey controller. Went with a Velleman VM116 and FreeStyler. Waaaayyyyyy more programable and less weight to carry around. Plus you can pass beats with SBDJ's plug in. Good luck !!!
