I just noticed something peculiar, when I start VDJ with my DN-MC6000, after VDJ starts and loads the skin, then after a few moments VDJ reads the position of the buttons and sliders from the controller and updates their position on the skin and obviosuly on the program itself, this is the desired operation.
But when I start VDJ with the Mixtrack Pro controller, VDJ never read/updates the current settings from the controller until I touch a given control. For example, if the controller is set at 50% master volume when VDJ starts, the program and skin will stay at 100% until I touch the master volume slider, then it jumps to 50%.
Is this a controller issue? How can I make VDJ read and update the controller settings on startup for the Mixtrack Pro?

The functionality you describe must be provided by the controller.
When the manufactures make such an ability capable, we take advantage of it.
When it is not available then there is nothing we can do.
