I bought some rubbish in the past too - the ones with the see-thru keys.

Then I got a Razer Lycosa

FYI: a small blacklight shining on your glow-in-the-dark keyboard might work well. Allen & Heath use blacklight-reactive ink on some of their controllers and it works well.

I use this. I love the usb ports, I use for usb flex neck lights, to light up my MC6000.

I work as a installer for a sound and light company as well as import and design lighting. I love the lit key board and was wondering if anyone has seen a custom selection key boards where you can select the color of the keys you choose. I would think that would be kick ass if you could assign light blue for all play features and the red for loop actions. I have the flex light from the old days.

What you want is the Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard - $200.

saitek eclipse on amazon a few years back for $20 for home.. still going strong and has fairly quiet keys and nice feel with 3 settings - dim, bright, and off

bought a saitek cyborg for work keyboard for $40 and if feels great with same settings and very responsive keys.

best reasons for buying? red backlighting wont ruin vision when you have to keep track of crowds and cost is pretty economical - buy a couple for spares (not that i've needed to replace any of them - the eclipse is still going strong after 2.5 years)
