ok guys currently using two crown xti amps and a graphic equilizer which is all good ect.
do any of you guys just use one mixi ng desk to dj ie<dynacord 100 mk2 which is 700w at 4 ohm.
just interested to know as i have one and find mics sound a hell of a lot better with desk.
i know each to there own but just curiuos

I think I understand the question as does anyone use a full live sound mixer instead of just a DJ mixer or a controller?
I use a Mackie CFX12 for my rack. My signal chain is Laptop - MixTrack Pro - Mackie - crossover - speaker/amps. Inserted into the Mackie I have compressor/limiter/gates and EQ'ng. This is all for vocals (when doing karaoke), and everything when I am doing live sound reenforcement. The sound, to me, is better, but thats what it's designed for. This will also very on the quality of the gear to begin with. A mic on a Dennon or Pioneer is going to sound better then a mic on a Gemini or Pyle.
