Topic: Imac setting for external mixer?

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

Hi All,

I have an IMX02 USB external mixer that I have used with my PC and Virtual DJ for years with no problems.

I recently changed to a new Imac, I downloaded the latest version of Virtual DJ.

I have set up the external mixer on the Imac as per the instructions

However, when playing virtual dj, the sound only appears to be coming out of 1 of the soundcards on the mixer. Both decks play out of one side and I crossfade to silence.

The mac can see both soundcards in the settings.

Is this a common thing with the mac? is there a simple fix?

Cheers

Nope, doesn't give me that option.

The mixer shows up as on my audio and midi settings as 2no. USB Audio CODEC, with only 2 channels each.

which makes sense as the mixer has 2no. USB inputs.

I assume this means the mixer has 2no. sound cards with 2 channels on each, but it is only playing out of 1 channel

I've tried everything I can think of.

If it shows up as two separate USB sound cards, then you would need to choose the following sound options:

Inputs: None
Outputs: External Mixer
Sound cards: 2 cards
1st card: Choose first card of the IMX02
2nd card: Chose second card of the IMX02

Click APPLY.

You may need to use the source selection switch (If it has one) to set each channel to the USB input.
