as the title says my laptop is not reading my hercules remix, all the light blink when i plug it in but the symbol on the start menu still has the x on it, i deleted the drivers and installed new one but still same problem... any suggestions or is it toast anybody else with this problem out there

Have you tried a different USB port? Or maybe USB cable?
