Topic: Macbook 2012 usb 3.0 Hercules with virtual dj

Hercules dj consol not is not working with a new macbook pro I bought (mid 2012) with usb 3... Works great with traktor and ableton just not with Virtual dj... ALL drivers up to date. Ive narrowed the possible problem to be with the new Usb 3.0 and Virtual Dj it self, if other programs can read the midi controller then why can't Virtual Dj? I got this new computer so I can buy the Pro version on VDJ and its not working

Can't speak about Hercules, but I"m using VDJ Pro on my mid-2012 MBP with USB3, Denon DN4500 and DN6000 and have no issues.
 
I am picking up the new MBP soon. I heard lot of comments that USB 3.0 is not compatible with VDJ and Numark Midicontroller. Is that True ? or is there any settings that has to be done to over ride this issue ?
 
Virtual DJ is compatible, it's hardware that may not be!

You could check the Numark forums or contact them directly if no-one answers here.

Now Friends I have a new Issue - I am not able to install the .dmg file which is provided by VDJ in the below link in my new Macbook Pro

Any thoughts or suggestions. It says this file is not developed by Apple and not supportive.
