At the DJ Times Expo this week, I had asked if Version 8 would natively fix the issue of the Slideshow plugin stretching images to fill the screen instead of leaving them at their original aspect ration. The answer I was given was that I can do that using the SBDJ Slideshow plugin, and that iw JUST became available for Mac, citing the approximate date as the week in June that I happened to look for it and didn't see it available. I was wondering if there was an existing solution for Mac? Also, it would be great if Version 8 would fix this natively on both platforms since the SBDJ slideshow plugin uses an unreasonable amount of system resources compared to the native slideshow plugin.

Hi,
it is hard to say for us this will be fixed in the new version when this one isn't released yet.
I'm sure the Expo guys will have a look into it.
So we can only wait.
