Hi
I'm about to buy a new HD for my MacPro (2008)... i think i choose an "Western Digital WD7500BPKT Scorpio Black 750 GB interne Festplatte (6,3 cm (2,5 Zoll), 7200 rpm, 16MB Cache, SATA)"
1) I think this will work (fine), am i right?
2) Is there a way to copy the old HD 1:1 to the new HD? Because i think if pathes of the mp3's change, i could get into real trouble with VDJ/ITCH-databases, playlists, crates...
3)Maybe there exists also a software, that allows me to modify the databases (i think of copying ALL mp3's into one single folder on the new HD, then modify all playlists/crates/dbs, so they will work properly ... if that is possible, i can solve another problem: many mp3s exist on my HD in 2 or even more copies... but i cant really just delete them, because i dont know, which of the copies are "used" in the playlists, DB's and crates by VDJ/ITCH
4) Or maybe there exists a software that allows me to save all the mp3s+pathes of the mp3s and write them (pathes+folders+mp3s) to the new HD

Dowload "Super Duper," the free-version is good enough for cloning HDs.
Note: You could only use the clone if the format of both HDs are Mac exclusive (can't be used on Windows).
