Yes I ordered a new old MacBook Pro 13 last night. My current one is a 2010 model Core Duo 2.4/8GB Ram. My new one is this:
2.9GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
Internal 8GB DDR3 RAM
750GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
Intel HD 4000 Graphics& NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
13.3" Widescreen LED-Backlit Display
SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
Dual USB 3.0 Ports & Thunderbolt Port
Native 1280 x 800 Resolution
FaceTime HD camera and omnidirectional mic
Backlit keyboard
64-bit Mac OS X Lion
I have loved my Core Duo and its rock solid, but I couldn't pass up this one. I will bootcamp this one and run Win7 native with Virtual DJ. I have always ran VDJ on OSX with my current model but want to use Win7 for the additional Plugins and stuff.

I boot camped my 2010 macbook... I find that vdj performs better under mac OS than win 7. I run timecode vinyl and getter better latency perfermance and lower CPU usage. I think its the core audio that is better than asio. Just my thoughts

True, but less plugins on Mac OS.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree and love the way VDJ runs on OSX but the plugins is what I was wanting for Win7. It's a toss up probably but I can have a dual boot system and run VDJ on whichever partition fits the gig. :)

Dual boot is the way to go.

Just remember it can get messy as MacOs and Windows use different file systems.
There are softwares available to give one side read access to the other, but it's a bit of a nightmare depending which partition you want to store your music on.
File paths will be different on each side which affects the VDJ database so it's not possible to use VDJ on Windows and Mac with the same database.
Better to stick to either Windows or Mac VDJ and store your music on the relevant partition.

Im about to go and buy me the newest MB Pro soon.
