QSC K12's. I love these speakers. they run $799 each, but are well worth the investment and have plenty of bottom end. very full sounding

My monitor speakers are bigger than those studio speakers, stop joking around.

As I said in my reply the first day you posted.....

With $800 you could just about get a pair of powered 15" + horn full range cabs from the lower end of the market.

They'll get you started but their ability to "bump a large room" will be limited.

The Mackies were suggested twice, as a good beginner set of speakers. You initially said you had $800 to work with. Just those speakers alone new are going to cost you $700 plus tax. Then you need stands ( min $40 ea ) and cables ( another $60+/- ).
The cheapest 18"sub I think I've seen is around $599, putting you up around $1400.

I say get the B-52 Matrix for $800, get two stands & your cables, rock the house with that system for a year or two, save some cash and move up from there!

I suggest looking at some Behringers. They have all kinds. Not the best sounding speakers but the loudest for their price range.

Don't get me wrong the b52 Matrix is good but you have to always bring the heavy subwoofer because the amp is built into it. With a powered 15" cabinet with a horn you are good for now & can buy a powered sub later & have the option to bring it along if needed or not.
