I like it. If this plate is made of aluminum there will be a laptop cooling factor involved. Just smear some Artic Silver on the bottom of your laptop and stick it to the plate. Voila ! No thermal problems at all... :)
All kiding aside... I like the clamps that hold down the laptop. My setup depends on the wires to hold my laptop to the stand. Sometimes it slips and scares the heck out of me.
I like the capability of the plate to attach equipment to the bottom. I'd put my DeeJay Trim and a couple of hard drives. Prewire it and get a nice bag for it. Thumbs UP.
