Topic: Hooking Up A Denon 4500

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

So I just bought a used but in great shape Denon 4500 and to be honest I am not that techy of a guy, so before I start I thought maybe I would ask if anyone who has this unit for any tips before I start.

I have a dell laptop and the Denon 5000 mixer. and of course VDJ 7

Also, and I know this is not a Denon room but since they both have sound cards built in,,, is one better than the other?

I guess they both use the same Denon Asio drivers so they should sound about the same.

HC-4500 is a great piece of kit and is extremely configurable with VDJ script.

Please see here and let us know if you need any more info.

I think I did it all right, the controller reads VDJ when I put in a song.... but VDJ does not show the 4500 as a driver.... arrggg... any thoughts?

Chuck isn't the mixer a Pioneer DJM-5000? As mentioned check the ASIO drivers and the firmware on the HC4500.

You a have to to use the denon ASIO driver Installed on your computer and select ASIO soundcard in the Virtual DJ Software, You can get the driver from the denon website..
