Topic: Problem with adding a line in (timecode?) to VDJ

Hey everyone,


first of, im not even sure that what im trying to do is possible, but i hope so.
SO, me and a friend want to play (as DJ's) at this club, but im using vdj and he
uses cdj's. We are tring to find a way to work together.
I Have MAYA 44 USB Sound card and im using it to split the music that goes out of my PC
to 2 different lines on to the mixer so i can control the sound from the mixer and not from the computer.
MAYA 44 have 2 lines "output" and 2 for "inputs", i was wondering if there is a way that i can
connect a input line (lets say a master) using my MAYA 44 and see it (and hear it) on my vdj.

I tried to look it up on your help pages and i ended up on the "timecode" setting page,
but nothing i did made it work, can anyone help me figure this out? it will be great!

What version of Virtual DJ are you using?
 
I use Virtual DJ 7 PRO
 
You ought to register the serial number then, so people can see what you're using without having to ask.

Yes, you can set up line inputs. Should all be in the manual.
 
Im sorry, im not sure how to do that ... :)
can anyone give me a link to the right manual?

Click the 'modify my profile' button on the forum, scroll down to the part that says 'licenses' then enter your serial number into the box and click 'register'.



The manual installs with the software. It should be on your hard drive.
