Topic: Denon MC6000 bootcamp WinXP-Need help

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I can't get my mc6000 to work with my Windows XP. I have XP installed on my Macbook Pro with bootcamp.

I have already consulted the DN-MC6000 configuration and troubleshooting guide as well as read all the other threads about the MC6000. I have followed the directions for both the 4 deck internal and 2 deck external. I also downloaded the ASIO PC (2.2) driver for the Mc6000 from the Denon website.

Most of the time my volume sliders are backward (Left deck is slider 3, right deck is slider 2), and all the time my music only plays from my speakers (hooked up from the XLR Master Outs) when I have the cues selected for the decks. Nothing is working as it should.

I believe that I have tried every combination of VDJ and MC6000 settings. Right now I am trying the 4 deck internal:

My mc6000 is set to PC Mix on the back, each channel is set to MIDI, the CF Mode is Audio & Video. Inputs: Line Ins, Outputs: Headphones, Sound Card: ASIO, Denon Asio Driver.

Anyone have ideas? Do I have the wrong driver (I tried both available on the Denon site for my mixer)? Is this something to do with being bootcamped?

I am also posting this on the Denon site in case it is a hardware issue.

No ideas on this one? I'd really like to get it resolved soon, so I am open to trying anything. I have an event this Saturday which I can use my backup computer for, but would prefer not to.

I can set it up again and post exactly what is happening with each setting if that will help...?

OK this is still a huge issue for me. Here is some more info, maybe this will help.

4 deck configuration issues:

MC6000 Settings- Back: PC, PCMIX, CH1/4 Top: CF Mode Audio&Video, All channels MIDI, Selector under CF is Ch2/3.
VDJ Config- Line In's, Headphones, Asio, Denon Asio Driver

What happens: When I move crossfader it happens on the program. When I move the first and 4th sliders they move the left and right decks on the program.
Both decks will play when selected; however, Volume sliders do nothing and songs only play when the cue button above the volume slider is selected. Also
the crossfader does not completely work, you can still hear the song on the other deck playing.

2 deck configuration issues:

MC6000- Back: PC, INT Mix, CH1/4 Top: CF Mode Video, Middle channels MIDI, outside AUX, Selector under CF is Ch2/3.
VDJ Config- Line In's, External Mixer, Asio, Denon Asio Driver

What happens: Volume Sliders and Crossfader are not shown on software (don't think they are supposed to be in this mode). Volume Sliders work but they
are backward, slider 2 controls the right deck and 3 controls the left. The crossfader and everything works when the X Fader Contour is set to AA, BB for
1234.

The 2 deck configuration seems to be close, just the decks are reversed. I could live with this I suppose but I would really prefer the four deck
option.

Please help! I have tried all kinds of setting changes and can't find anything that works right.

Next to "External Mixer" there should be a Channel Selector drop down box. Use it to reverse your deck output assignments.

I don't know anything about Mac's or bootcamp... BUT could it possibly be that you still need to set up for Mac?
Although you have probably already tried that...

I was finally able to get my MC6000 and bootcamped XP to work correctly. I thought I would post my solution in case anyone else has a similar problem.

The first thing I did was to remove Virtual DJ and the ASIO driver completely from my system. I then reinstalled both. I used the newest ASIO driver from the Denon website.

After a fresh install the settings I found to work perfectly are:

MC6000- back of unit: PC, PC Mix, CH1/4. Top of unit: CF Mode audio&video, CH1/4, XFader all Thru, Every Channel Set to MIDI

VDJ Settings- Line Ins, Headphones, ASIO Driver

This is not the setup recommended on the VDJ site, but it works great for me. I also installed the Mapper to change decks so I can use my middle two volume sliders.

Hope this may help someone else!
