Hi,
My setup currently includes:
2x Stanton t.60 turntables
Stanton M202 mixer
Maya44 USB external soundcard
2x Serato Scratch Live timecoded vinyl
and Virtual DJ version 6.0 Pro
I'm having an issue with the audio coming from the vinyl (i think). I am receiving 100% quality in the time coded setup but the audio coming out from my speakers its very very distorted, fuzzy and un-listenable. I am playing the audio through 2 RCA cables coming from the back of my mixer, plugged into a RCA to AUX converter ( http://www.citymartonline.com/images/962.jpg , (but with red and white inserts)) which is then plugged into an AUX input on one of my speakers.
What could be causing this extremely bad audio sound? When I put normal vinyl onto the turntables and play them through the same setup (ie, RCA to AUX to PC speakers) the audio is fine. However in this step of course I skip the MAYA44 USB soundcard. Could this be causing the problem? I'm sure I have it setup in Virtual DJ fine and have checked it many times.
Thanks.

You are using an old and outdated version of VDJ. Either download the home free version which will allow you to try timecode setup for 10 minutes or enter your valid pro serial and download the latest pro version 7.05b

So an outdated version is causing it?
---------------EDIT-------------
I updated and still the same problem.

Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
If you only get this problem when playing ordinary vinyl via the bypass feature then this is because you are using such an old and out-of-date version. The timecode bypass in older versions had poor sound quality. This was improved in newer versions. Also, the Maya44 doesn't have a phono amp, so sound quality will not be as good (VirtualDJ uses a software amp for the timecode signal, which works well enough in most cases.)
Check your Maya44 settings are set correctly: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Maya44%20USB.html - I.e: If your input and/or output levels are too high in the Maya44 control panel, this could be causing the distortion.
