Is there anyway I can link a specific picture to a specific audio track while running video & Sonique? For instance if I have an audio track by say Chris Brown and I dont want to have Sonique displayed for that specific track, can I have Chris's Jpeg show while I play that specific track automatically?

Yes, you can.
The data base has to have the cover art plugin installed. Run sonique for default audio files, then turn on the the cover art plugin. You can change the size and transparency to use the whole screen. When a track has a cover, it is displayed, if not, sonique is visible.

K, Thanx Blckjck, Just so I'm clear when you say "the database has to have the cover art plugin installed", do i have to download the plugin? If so from where? I didnt see it in the download/plugin section or do I just have to activate it? How do I turn it on? Does it use any addition pc resources as far as video ram? Thanx

I kinda mistyped, sorry.
First, you need the video effect showcover.
Second, the cover art needs to be in the database, meaning that when you display the file info, the cover should show on that page. If not, you can have VDJ scan the internet. Another way is if the file already has the art in the id3 tag. Then you can click cover, double click the art, and it will make it an attached file. From what I can tell, all VDJ is doing is making a 600x600 pixel JPG with the full song name as the name of the jpg. For example, Artist-Title.mp3 would have Artist-Title.mp3.jpg

Blckjck, I installed showcover=good, I have VDJ set to search the internet for cover art & it comes up with only blacked out cover art from google? If I have a jpeg is there a way I can manually attach it to the song or imbed it in the Id3 tag? Whats the best way/process or software I should use to accomplish this?? Thanx

To get cover art for your tracks, open vdj, right click on a track and select file info's > in the top right hand corner right click on the image square and choose change cover art > there are selection boxes to choose from.
There is also a choice of how to get the covers in config > browser > this has a drop down selection.
Personally there are better options then to use show covers.

Thanxs vjnone it worked on v7.05 but not v5.07??, Tayla, as a follow up to your post for my topic, what are your better options?? Also is there an option I can get to work with v5.07 & v7.05b?? I currently have vjnones method working with on v7.05b but not v5.07?. I use v5.07 to mix video at a venue I play at on a backup system that I leave at there premises, v5.07 is most stable with my Behringer controller, so if possible I would like to use a method that will work on both versions if possible???
