Does anyone know why a file after being scanned will not come up in a search? So you know I opened the file info and at the very bottom shows the path and etc but also says the "file will not appear in search". I rescanned it and still get the same.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Try right clicking on the folder its in and click on "Add files to Search Database" or something to that effect.

Make sure in configuration you have add to database set to auto.

Could be that the file has lost it's link to the folder, or it may have a space before the first letter within the file name or even a period in front...or the file preperties may be read only...
