Topic: About an A->B loop control??

Mixvibes provides this feature. Could you make the beatlock feature locks the loop length (and not beats) on the other deck's tempo, it might make infinite possibilities of loops, and mix a 3beat tempo or a 7beat tempo to fit a 4/4melody in other deck.

I really enjoy VDJ. I hope this feature will happen. I wait for a filter too. Greats!

Yeah... I like what you're saying. And I want a filter too! Filter is the only reason I use DSS DJ more than VDJ.
 
The A to B loop feature allows to make 'very special' tempos, and really offers an infinite possibility of loops. But the beatlock feature would have to be updated to correspond with loops obtained.

I think the filter feature is a very important think, allowing you to make small effects to sounds. Maybe a plugin could be wrote to allow it? I dont't know...

For the teamers : could you answer this and explain if it's possible to do. This two features are really missing in this great soft. If it is added, Traktor would be far from Virtual DJ, very far...
 
The manual loop feature already exists, but it is not available on the default skin.
You should either download a skin that presents this feature, or define some new shortcuts (the action to use are "loop_in" and "loop_out")

I'm going to try this right now! Thanks for this helpfull advice. If you're right the filter is the only thing to add. So Virtual DJ would be PERFECT!!?

create a shortcut "loop" with: value="0"

the latest silver skin posted by Jim Nordic has buttons on the skin for loop in and loop out.
 
Thanks for your "veryfast" aswers. I wanted to know if a BUTTON can be created to exit the loop, that I can include in a xml. Or only the shortcut exists?
 
As you can do a shortcut, you can create a button on a skin.
In the xml file, choose the action "loop" and the value=0.
Easy, isn't it?
