I'm having a wierd problem & I need help please. I have all my music, video & karaoke files stored on a 2tb Fantom external harddrive. The Fantom external harddrive is partitioned into (2) drives, a 500gb & 1.5tb. I cloned/copied/backed up this drive with a Seagate 2tb external harddrive formated identically. I copied the Fantom to the Seagate using my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. When I attempt to use the cloned Seagate drive on my Vista 32bit Primary or Backup gig laptop, the 1st 500gb partition on the external hardrive doesnt show up in VDJ, the OS sees the drive but VDJ doesnt???? Now heres another wierd thing? I have both my laptops (Primary & Backup dedicated VDJ machines) setup as triple boots machine (Windows 7, XP & Vista). VDJ sees both external drive partitions in XP only, VDJ doesnt see one of the external drive partitions in W7 or Vista. I need VDJ to see both external harddrive partitions with the Laptop's Vista partition. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

it could be rights/ssecurity issue.
Check the ownership and claim ownership.

Thanx Magic it was the rights/security issue. My backup drive is set.
