hi anyone can help me regarding installation of virtual DJ:
very simple installations, I have loptop sony vaio i3 (windows 7 64bit) i tried many times to install the vitual dj any version, but
i found almost all has an error..I have last version Virtual DJ Pro v7.0.5b, when i tried to install from the start installation the error has appeared
Virtual DJ is not valid for short name. Any one can give some suggestions?

Completely un-install VDJ from your computer, clean out your registry, then go here and download the latest version of VDJ http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html.
Then do a clean install, you sholdn't have a problem...

You need also to clear off your computer any previous versions of VDJ you may have installed.
Uninstall VDJ and all previous versions.
delete any files/folders of VDJ.
Restart your computer.
Install version of VDJ from the link you have been given from Joey.
Hope that helps, long winded yes, but has worked inn the past.
