Topic: Using VirtualDJ for singback shows

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

If I want to use VirtualDJ as the engine for singback shows I need a playlist to play automatically while using cues to tell when to move from one song to the other. I haven't discovered if that is at all possible?

I assume you mean karaoke? I have been using VDJ as a karaoke host for several years. Depending on the night, I either play requests between singers or have a full rotation and just have a few seconds of filler in between. For the latter, I have Automix running one one deck with a playlist of Daft Punk, Guetta, Benassi, Deadmau5 etc. and cue up the karaoke tracks on the second deck. As far as start and end points for Automix, you may set them manually (by right-clicking "BPM" on most skins), then set Automix type to "Smart."

I tried many options before choosing VDJ. Along with the support of the users in the forums, I suggest you too will be very happy with the investment!

Maybe a silly question: Is it possible to make a playlist and let it play automatically?

Yes, it is possible and you could save a playlist, or drag audio and video files into AutoMix and play....but would be helpful to you to read the manual so you understand how it all works...

Good Luck,

Joey...

Ok thanx, i did read some of the manual, but i rather play and try then having to read the entire thing.
But I'll guess i have to go and do that now. :)

Is it posable to remove a singer from the rotation list?

IT IS NOT A SILLY QUESTION, That is how he wants it. You can even assign the cue points manually on each tracks where the automix ends and starts the other tracks.

Yes, If the song is in the playlist/rotation, then just highlight selection you need removed, right click and remove...
