Is it possible to map keyboard shortcuts for the loop functions? in VDJ 7 pro I know that the default settings to trigger loops use the F1 buttons etc, i would like a button to activate REC/CIRCULAR LOOP/ONE SHOT in each loop bank, is this possible?

I think he means record into the sampler. I have never really tried it but you need two buttons to record them play a sample, of you could have a shift button so you press F1 to play the sample and SHIFT + F1 to record a new sample, to have a shift with the keyboard is really easy, all you do is press both keys at the same time when using key learn
SHIFT + F1 - sampler record
down ? loop & sampler 1 rec : loop_exit
F1 - sampler play
sampler 1 loop on & sampler 1 play_stop & sampler 1 beatlock on
just tried this, it actually works really well as you will record a perfect loop but the track doesn't actually loop for longer than you hold the buttons, and you still get the full sample. Just be mindful of your sampler volume levels as the sampler records the original level of the song not the master level you have set in VDJ.
you can also include a save function so vdj permanently saves the sample for you to use again. with save however there are two ways you could go about it.
the first is to save the sample as a specific name eg 'sampler 1 save "sample loop 1"'
or you can make vdj open a naming window for you, then you can call the sample anything you like using just "sampler 1 save"
to include that it just goes in the record script

if you register your version of PRO you will have access to kaleo's plugin "loop games" which can give you a perfect beatsynced loop to record into the sampler, as the way it is set now you need good timing to get it perfect.
