At a gig right now and my Denon is not responding to any buttons being pushed. I hae not changed or updated anything on my gig computer. The only thig I did was hook an old hard drive up to the laptop earlier today. Is there some sort of setting that could of been changed in my usb settings that affected this? music plays thru the denon and all info from VDJ like song title and time shows up on the 4500 screens. I just cannot use any of the button functions.

Oh and when i hooked up the old drive today it windows did not recognize it. I belive it is an old 1.0 usb drive.

There is probably some sort of conflict that is preventing it from sending MIDI signals to VirtualDJ.
If you use an external USB hub, then maybe this is faulty. Try connecting the HC4500 directly to your computer. Also, try a different USB cable.
