Ok just purchased some new equipment but dont really know how to connect it all......

how do i connect everything to my rmx?speakes?cd player?
I tried running cd player to channel 3/4 input but could not get it to play

The first recommendation for anything is to read the manual;

On page 6, there is a nice diagram showing exactly how to connect all the speakers together. Simply replace the mixing console by the Rmx. Obviously, since these connections are usually made using XLR cable, you would need some XLR to 1/4' TRS jacks to connect directly to the Rmx, although in a live situation, you'll probably have a mixer.
Then for using your CD player as a source to the Rmx:
