ok well, that was no use at all, the first one was for timecode setup,, and the second was the exact same thing.... thanks for the attempt though.

this i did for about 2 hours... have you ever seen the amount of mixtrack threads there is??

@synth, ill take a look. if not ill just pm huey..

I remember the thread just not the name, lol! What are you trying to do?

i wanna sort out my MTP for scratching and cant remember what i needed to do. i know the latency has to be dropped to like 1250 or something... cant quite remember. the problem i have is when i leave go of the jog it tkes around 1-2 seconds for the trck to continue playing. obviously i need it to be instant.. or at least as close to instant as possible.

you mean this one... just download the registry tool and change the default sctatch latency, mine is around 980 I think, but I pretty much just set it like huey says in the video, If it's the right one, can't watch it as im using my phone as a modem, and it's shit :(

thans synth, however, i still have a probelm with delay.

the scratch over all i much beter, but i have around 1/2second delay between leaving go of the platter and the track restart. anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this?

The only time I ever experience what your describing is when I push the platter just before I let go.

Sorry couldn't be more help & good luck
Huey

you need to push the platter forward on release there is a function in how it operates to allow spinbacks, so if you are not pressing the jog and the jog is moving backwards it will spinback the track when in vinyl mode. try this for the mapping, it works in my head, so it might work in reality LOL, but be aware you cant do spinbacks if you use the non holding vinyl mode, but if you hold the button for half a second you it will be in the normal vinyl_mode, so you could do spinbacks...

new vinyl mode button
holding ? vinyl_mode & set 'scratch' 0 : toggle 'scratch' & var 'scratch' 0 ? vinyl_mode 0

jog touchpad
var 'scratch' 1 ? down ? vinyl_mode 1 & touchwheel_touch 1 : touchwheel_touch 0 & vinyl_mode 0 : touchwheel_touch
