Topic: Need Help on upgrading my DJ Equipment

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I currently have a Hercules RMX and have been operating with this for the past 3 years. I want to upgrade to CDJs b/c I like the feel of being able to scatch more freely, but I am curious as to what purpose it will serve for me. I know most CDJs do not have USB input but I believe with Virtual DJ/Serato you can use the program to drag MP3s onto the CDJs. I hardly run off CDS when I DJ and lean more towards my external hard drive for playing music. With the Hercules RMX its basically "hook it up and go" therefore its easy. I have been looking at some CDJ-800s, but I dont want to waste my money on something I dont really need and if its something better out there for my needs I will apreciate your input. ANY INPUT! USB Preferred though, thanks in advance! Hope this isn't confusing

Well the RMX you can attached cdjs and turntables and then use the rmx as mixer. I used to have a pair of Denon DN-3700s which almost felt like real turntable because of the 9" vinyl. And I attached it with the RMX. There also Numark V7 but it's not really a cdj. I'm sure there are cheaper CDJs but I believe the denon's have usb ready as well. Anyways I'm more of scratch dj (turntablist) so I choose to use turntables.

Buy the denon Denon 3700's. I have a pair and they are really good. They have a usb connections and accept Usb thumb drives. The Platter feels better than The Pioneer CDjs and you are not paying alot of money for them. I have put the Denon decks thru soo much that they still perform well. I scratch, Cut, Blend etc. I highly recomend these decks.

still weighing my options, keep the advice coming! thanks
