Topic: Audio begins to distort after a while

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

So I got my whole set up last week.

That is when I downloaded drivers for everything, so all drivers should be up to date:

I use a TCV setup:

Sager NP9262 (Clevo d900c)
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1
BIOS: BIOS Revision: D900C 1.00.13S LS2
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM

2 Stanton T.62 Turntables
Hercules Dj Control Rmx Controller
Serato Vinyls version 2

So here is the problem: Everything Configures fine. And I start playing, and mixing and scratching and everything seems to be working fine. However after a few minutes (ranges anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes) A growl like distortion gets introduced into all of the audio.

Here is the kicker: The distortion does NOT show up when VDJ makes an internal recording of the mix.
So the Distortion is coming out of the Main outs but is not in VDJ. I have tried several different configurations As far as the options in VDJ is concerned and set up my system similar to Huey and others that posted in his Perfect Timecodes post.

here are some factors to help Isolate the problem:

* If I close VDJ, and wait a couple minutes, then reopen it, the Distortion is Gone.

* If I make a recording of the mix using VDJ, even if I hear the distortion coming out of the speakers, it does NOT show up in the recording.
Recording the main outs, I hear the distortion and it records. So the distortion is only coming out of the main outs, but VDJ I dont think is seeing it.

* In the sound Setup, if I do not use the Timecode Option and select "None" instead, and just use my rmx and VDJ to play tracks - No Distortion

* HOWEVER, if I choose 2 Timecodes in the Sound Setup, the distortion comes in EVEN WITH THE TURNTABLES TURNED OFF

* Also, I have played tracks, they sounded good. Then stopped everything but left VDJ open. Didnt touch anything, started playing tracks again and the distortion was there.

So I'm Guessing it has something to do with how the RMX is processing the Timecode configuration. And since the distortion comes in over time, it has to be something additive. I Am lost.

Any help?

Your software does not support time code use.
If you are using something besides your licensed version, that may be the problem.

Thanks for the response!
