I have a gemini 3600 dual cd mixing console it has 2 line inputs, if I get a 4in 4out sound card to hook up to the laptop, plus the cd's etc. will I be able to run timecode on this thing? Thanks in advance!

yes, alot of people go with a maya44 soundcard for a cheap set up, and you will need VDJ pro to run timecodes.

oh ok so can I use the free version to test it out or does the timecode only work with the pro version?

Only the pro version supports timecodes, now if your CDJ's are USB, then that may be a different story (but i'm pretty sure only the pro version allows custom midi mapping as well)
There is a trail period for the pro, and if you have bought gear that includes VDJ, there is a pretty good chance you can get a discount.

Pro features such as timecode and MIDI controllers can be tried for 10 minutes at a time in Home FREE.
After that, it reverts back mouse/keyboard only, but you can restart the software to get another 10 minutes trial as many times as you like.
