Been out of the DJ game for a while and picked up a couple of corporate gigs passed on being Dj in past. Went great lost a little touch (some rehearsing will fix that) , went and bought a Hercules MK4 and aboslutely LOVING it with Virtual DJ LE. Where was this technology when I was in the business full time. I am running of a laptop with External harddrive. Just a few questions though (god i feel dumb)

If I take the 20 day upgrade to pro .. will all my settings remain on VDJ LE after the 20 days (i.e. skins, samples, effects, bpms)?

Using mixmiester bpm analyser to get all the bpms since tried to keep database updated in LE and failed, was fine with home free, like i said i feel dumb probably forgot to do something.

Got to play with the MK4 a bit and really feel like its the old days. Look forward to posting more here in forums and will constantly be checking for updates. Didnt realize how much I missed DJing.

Thanks for taking the time to help

DJ Walt

It will revert back to the LE version once the 20 day trial of Pro is finished. LE doesn't support custom skins, samples, effects, so these won't be usable once the trial expires (It will revert back to the LE default skin), however they will remain on your computer should you choose to upgrade in the future (At a discount.)

You should ideally use VirtualDJ to analyse your songs for BPM, key, etc. In the full Pro, you can create a filter folder to allow you to scan songs that haven't been analysed yet: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Pre-Analysing%20Your%20Music%20Collection.html
