Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, but I've been using VirtualDJ for some time now.
The forum's great, and it could come in very handy to me, because I have a question.
I've been into local bars lately and have been paying attention to the local DJs here. Many of them use VirtualDJ.
Now, what has amazed me is how easy these DJs mix a certain loop (for example: the beginning of 'One' by SHM) into the melody of Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes. Not sure if I'm saying this correctly, but they're simple turning the original melody of the song into the melody of Seven Nation Army, and after that, a bass comes kicking in and the crowd starts singing and dancing along.
I'm pretty sure that this is not just a remix of the song because I've heard this effect go on multiple times now.
My question is: How do these DJs do this? Is this a function/effect/plugin of VirtualDJ? Can I download the effect?

not sure something like that is possible yet... Deun Deun released a video of a plugin he was working on called fx roll multitap that might be similar to what you are requesting, but why not just go ask the dj when they finish their set, us dj's love nothing more than talking about how awesome we are... the conversation should go something like... hi my name's (enter your name here) I loved your set especially (talk about a couple of unrelated tracks to show you were listening) and when you mix one into seven nation army everytime i hear you do it (shows you have been following them) i'm amazed (now wait and see if their proud of how they came up with it and tell you straight out, if not just ask), if that doesn't work go out to the car and share a spliff with them, they will tell you for sure and probably invite you round for a mix,
