Topic: Which laptop would you buy???

Hi guys,

I sold my Toshiba laptop to a friend, and I am looking for a new back-up laptop (I use servers for DJing) But I also want to be able to use it as a second setup for non-wedding gigs where I don't need a roadie. Virtual DJ Pro, and possibly down the road Scratch Live with the Video plug-in. Here are my 2 options right now:

I am leaning more towards the Asus 12G ram 3G Nvidia Video Card 2 750 HDs and price (almost $1000 less) But many Mac users (even non-users) are tellling me that I will never go wrong with the Mac.... any input from gurus, or either of these units user... Thanks in advance as I am very confused!!!

The best computer I've ever owned is this 17" Mac, no hard sell.
Had top of the line laptops and built many systems mb out, but I repeat...^

You can also do pretty well with refirbs from Apple, had two so far without issues.
 
Do you use an external HD for your music or all in your mac?
 
I use several external drives.
1 4 driver server and 2 usb 2.5"'s and at some gigs all at once.
 
if u have the cash, get the mbp
