When I play any of my MP4 videos in Virtual DJ it is choppy. When I play it Windows Media it works fine. I am using a Dell Inspiron 1710 It has Intel HD everything and has most bells and whistles. I suspect the registry needs updated but I am not sure. Can anyone offer help?

I've figured out the problem with the video on the new laptops, go into setting and click on video, then uncheck
- Use Hardware Acceleration - videos now play properly!
- Use Hardware Acceleration - videos now play properly!

If you do this then video effects and transitions that rely on accelerated video functions will not work.
Ideally you need to fix the problem, which unfortunately for recent ATI and other cards with similar issues is only possible with a driver/firmware update from the manufacturer (If available.)
