If Window, Google, and Itunes can search for songs using random words, out of order, and bits and pieces of the title of a song...why does virtual dj require an exact match when entering songs into the search bar...for instance why can't you type "bryan adams heaven instrumental" you can't...it would come up blank because the song you are looking for is actually titled "adams, bryan - heaven (instrumental)
Is there any talk about changing the search to accomodate a more broad yet more specific search?

in virtual dj, i would use"adams*heaven" in the search, then it would bring up all the versions i have with both key words.

if a song is titled, adams, bryan etc...then your songs are labelled wrong. i try to write as much info to the id3 tags as possible. my tracks are titled only with the song title, nothing else, artist, year etc are all written to the id3 tags.
i never seem to have a problem finding a track.

VirtualDJ uses Wildcards.

The advantage is that you can narrow your search as much as you need to, and have very accurate results.
It is not only the asterisk (*) If you are unsure about specific characters you can use a question mark (?) instead.
