This problem has already been posted by someone before, see that thread here http://fr.virtualdj.com/forums/134266/General_Discussion/Refreshing_Your_Music_Folders.html The problem is the only resolution appears to be to add the folder in question as a favourite folder as it should then automtaically update but that doesnt work for me.
My issue is that I incorrectly tagged a batch of files using Tag and Rename which for some reason left every track in this folder showing up with a blank title and simply my production company name as the artiss (I am a producer and they were all my own remix productions) so I used a nexternal command line piece of kit which removed the tags completely and looking at the tracksi n tag and rename and in the music folder on my pc the tags have gone yet this is not reflected in Virtual DJ and the missing titles and my company as artist still shows so I have no idea which track is which!
I am new to virtual DJ'ing and new to this software so hope someonme can help?
A similar issue happened yesterday on my Macbook Pro where I plugged in an external hard drive to have a mix and unplugged it later on however looking now, all the tracks from that hard drive still show in my music folders as if its still plugged in so it seems VDJ jjst doesnt update its folders which would surprise me as it would be the basis of any piece of software.
Hope someone can advise further,
Many thanks

SOLVED! The live support are geniuses.
What I needed to do was highlight every track in this folder (within VDJ) and select "reload tag" which then picks up the new tag and updates all tracks.
