Others may have already figured this out but I just did today. So I purchased a larger internal HD so I could make two partitions and keep
all of my music on the D: partition. This is to eliminate equipment and decrease how much crap I have to carry and set up at gigs. So one I
installed my hard disk now all of my music is on D: drive instead of E:, and all of my play lists were dead. So I found that if you rename
playlist1.m3u (just made up a name) to playlist1.txt you can then edit the play list. I just replaced E:\ with D:\ and saved the file. Then I
renamed it back to .m3u. I did this for all of my play lists and they are all working fine now. Sure beats the pain in the a$$ of having
to recreate play lists. Hope this helps others in the same boat.

There is an even better idea ...
To not use playlists at all.
Playlists in virtualdj are external files (standard m3u) and not part of the database.

Use the virtual folders instead. These are part of the database and you can easily fix any path within virtualdj with the database tools provided.

Interesting, I may have just learned something as I have never used the virtual folders. I will check it out.
Thanks
