Topic: Numark Mixtrack Pro Question

Im thingking about purchasing this unit and just had some questions.


1. how are the platters

2. would you use this in public

3. is it worth buying

Hard plastic, lol! With the registry tool you can actually scratch with it........
Yes I would use it........
Teamed up with VDJ script this is a beast........

For price/performance it is hard to beat.
 
Is Eny Body trynn to buy A Numark Stealth Controll Or tradee it For a Mixtrack Pro?

I've a used mixtrack pro, and I've only had one issue with it, and that's that it sometimes doesn't scratch when I've put it in scratch mode. (This may be because I bought it used.) Not really sure why it does this, otherwise it's great.

I was a little embarrassed about doing gigs with it at first because I was like it's so small & not dj'ish enough...But after doing mobile gigs, lugging around 2 speakers, an amp, computer bag, laptop stand...I was glad that I can fit my mixtrack pro & my mics case (holds 2 mics & power unit) & all of my cables into an adidas duffle bag that I have...I call it my gig bag...So I could imagine if I had bigger decks that would add another thing to carry...I've had a lot of former dj's see that & was like wow I wish we had those kinds of things when I was dj'ing....& Don't worry about what equipment you use, worry about how you use it...I've done clubs & mobile stuff with it & it stood up just fine...
 
I agree with everyone else.. I use the mix track pro out at parties and events a couple times a week and I love it. Very portable and has great features. Feel free to check out any of my mixes they were all done on the Mixtrack.
