I use the default VDJ7 skin. When I load a video into the deck 2 player, it looks fine on the small preview window, but looks very dim in the master preview window. I don't have this problem for the deck A player.
I am using the Denon MC6000 with ASIO driver version 2.2 on a quad core SONY VAIO, Windows 7 64 bit, 4GB RAM.
Any idea what might cause this?

Are we talking about the same video, in both players? Is this only in the window, or on the second monitor also? What video card do you have?

I had this, it's your crossfader!!! Move it

I have the NVidea GeForce GT 425M. I do not have the 2nd output hooked up here at my desk, but I will try later.
It's not the crossfader - I have it all the way over on the Denon, and it follows on VDJ.

Yes - that was the problem It was checked and the VDJ fader (not the Denon fader) was lowered. For some reason, Denon keeps changing and resetting the last set VDJ fader level every time it shuts down. Hopefully a future firmware will fix this.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I believe that the fader always resets to the middle on VDJ after shutdown of the software. Just move the fader on the controller after you start the software at each gig. At least that is how it does on my 4-MX. I always have my faders completely down after every gig that way when I start at the beginning of the night VDJ will recognize where my fader on the controller is.
