Hi all, Have been browsing the forums and gaining as much knowledge as i can before i start purchasing my setup.
I would be massively grateful if you could offer advise or help on this subject for me.
Ok so far i have my Macbook Pro and VDJ PRO and am now looking at getting some hardware to go with this.
So far i have this in mind: Denon DNMC6000 with 2x Pioneer CDJ 850'S. Would it be possible to do this while on VDJ and what would i need to look out for or get as far as cables, software leads etc etc. And would this be easy to set up?
Or what about the Behringer DDM4000 and CDJ 850'S? Or even the Pioneer DDM 800?
Could anyone possibly offer some alternative set ups? I do like the look of the Denon CD players.
The main use for this is going to be Trance mixing and making Mix CD's in my house.
I thank you in advance and look forward to the responses.
All the best Luke.

You need to register your vdj pro license to get to the rest of the goodie shop in the plugins section, remember not all plugins will be compatible with your mac.

I don't really see what would be the point of getting BOTH Denon DN-MC6000 AND Pioneer CDJ-850's. The DN-MC6000 is a stand-alone unit, so I'd buy either just the DN-MC6000 OR Pioneen DJM-800 (or DJM-700) + CDJ-850's if you have money to spend. As for Behringer products...I would not touch them with a ten feet pole.
You might also want to consider Denon DN-X1600 or DN-X1700. IMHO better functionality than Pioneer mixers and especially better bang for the buck.
Hooking the Pioneer setup is fairly simple. Just plug the CDJ-850's USB-cables to your computer and connect the CDJ's to mixer using RCA-cables.

+1 on the avoid behringer....the mixers sound tinny and most of the time the fx dont work. the sliders break easy too from what ive heard so i wouldnt trustt them for scratching.
