I made a mix yesterday with a songs with bpms inbetween 124-130 bpm Its about 7 minutes long and has 6 or 7 tracks in it when i loaded the recording into vdj it said the bpm was like 69bpm how is that possible? Can someone explain why this happens with recordings? It kinda makes mixing two mixes you made together difficult unless you do it by ear.

VDJ cannot get good bmp on tempo changing tracks, it determines one tempo. Apperently half of your mix tempo. I would suggest avoiding tempo changing tracks unless you know these very well.
If it was a steady tempo, you can allways correct it manually!

or split the tracks using audacity, scan with mixed in key and add a note to your vdj track notes to give points of change and bpm variation.
or avoid. lol. id avoid.. but hey its another option..
