Topic: Finally!!

Finally after weeks of trying i got everything working on my set. Sound quality is shitty to start but i open sound settings up click apply and bam good sound and everything works. Thanks to anyone who has helped me i really appreciate it. the only thing that kinda worries me is the cpu bar, it gets pretty high sometimes and i know that its suppose to be low. i dont have anything open when playing either. ill just have to figure that one out lol but very satisfied at the moment lol.

When does the CPU usage go high? Mine goes pretty high when loading a new song into a deck, other than that it stays fairly low.
 
 
ill have to look more but i know when i use effects it does and when loading. its normally in the green other wise but i have heard you want it super low for quality
 
have you disabled all un-necessary start up items, quick launch, sidebar, aero, fonts etc ??? if you have a lot of items running in the background you will det CPU peaks on a regular basis. for your dj rig you really need a paptop to be stripped of all un necessary tasks.

try using tune up utilities, you can get a free trial and all your options will remain static even after un installation. i think youll find it highly usefull.

when you want help you should provide all the relevant info you can

your Operating System

your RAM

your VDJ

do you do video ? what happens immediately before the problem ?

does it seem to be related to a new controller? or skin?

you gave us zero info to work with
 
might try game booster, but is it based more around just boosting gpu and cpu speeds for gameplay only or is it also a windows tweaking tool?
 
sorry for the lack of info i dont get computers very well lol its window 7, 3 GB, and the only things on it are basic stuff no office, or extras just cubase and virtual dj and music. everything is closed and not running unless i am using cubase
