Topic: Numark NDX800 user wanted ;-)

Hi guys or girls,

i have a strange situation and don't know how to handle.

When I connect my 2 NDX800 via USB to my MBP and set the player to USB Midi mode, only one the NDX800s LED ring is working.
The other one (LED ring) is dead.

It is only the LED ring around the platters which is not working, all other LEDs (Buttons etc.) is working fine.
They are assigned to Deck 1 and Deck 2 on mapper side ;-)

When I’m on CD Mode, each LED ring is working.

The firmware is up-to-date ;-)

Can anybody confirm this and is there a solution or is there a bad karma on my Mac?

PS: Used with 7.0.4 (native mapper & definition file)

I have this "problem" me to. I hope someone found a solution.
 
 
I have again this problem after that. I disable HDI device and it's the same. One of ring don't work.
 
One of my platter is in NCSX2_028' and the other is in NCSX_029'. Maybe the problem come from there?

Ok, but glad i'm not alone.

I have some questions to crosscheck it with mine ;-)

I connect my two NDX800 in midi on HUB to VDJ. I use the sound card of my 4MX and so, i use de output 1/2 and 3/4 of this controler.

my config in VDJ is :

Line in : None

Output : External mixer

Sound card : Hercules 4MX (with the picture of the 4MX)

I changed nothing. Like the NDX800 is native to VDJ I just plug and play.
 
Sorry, at the moment i have no solution for you and me ;-)

But it is reported and so we have to wait till it is solved :-)
