I own Virtual DJ Pro Basic and would like to record demo shows for future use. Can I use a microphone in Virtual DJ? Also, where do I insert the jingles, sweepers, etc? I'm as thick as two bricks and haven't worked it out. Would it be better to purchase VirtualDJ Pro Full?

Go PRO! I used the Home Edition (back then it still cost money, now it's free) to get acquainted with the program. But Pro offers all tou need to go live. See the product comparison page!

Sure, you can use a Mic together with the Pro Basic.
It is more the question what kind of soundcard/Mic you use.

... And you can load all your jingles into the sampler. There's a tab for it next to "browser" and "effects" in virtual dj.
