Is there a way for the time to populate when browsing?
As of now, the time won't populate unless the track is loaded.

If Length field (column) is not showing up on browser, then you need to rightclick on Browsers column headers and choose Length from the list.
In order length to show up to that field you need to analyze your songs, by rightclicking (Scan for BPM). In case you need to scan all your music files, read how here
